We had a great stay at this cute little gem hidden away from the main hustle and yet close to everywhere. We booked last-minute and were very surprised to find a brand new boutique hotel. It has a lovely pool with subbed, shaded sitting area and a small spa. The room was spacious and had all amenities you can imagine. Very quick wi-fi, but above all super friendly and warm staff who made our stay even better. We highly recommend this place!

Great location. Perfect, cozy room. We didn't know that it was close to 5th Street's Congo Bongo when we booked it, so we were slightly worried about noise...but it ended up being a peaceful little oasis for us. The hotel is mostly self-serve (no reception area). The only issue we faced was the slow drainage in the shower, but overall, would recommend.
Malish is one of the cutest hotels I've been to: large, prettily decorated rooms, comfy beds, great blackout blinds, and AC that handles the heat and humidity well. The courtyard decor is lovely, and being able to lounge by the pool was a nice touch. Nighttime music and next-door construction were both non-issues. Breakfast is simple but sufficient (juice, coffee, bananas, pastries), and spa services are available. It's within a 10-minute walk to everything Playa del Carmen has to offer. Housekeeping followed my instructions daily, thanks, Mary. Biggest highlight was Isa: booked my Chichén Itzá tour, rescued me after a late-night lockout, and gave phenomenal local snack recommendations found at Walmart. Malish does exactly what a great small hotel should: makes you feel genuinely valued and goes above and beyond. I'd stay here again.
Lovely place. Really enjoyed my stay there and recommend. Nice clean spacious well decorated and comfy rooms. Great to have free coffee and water. Good location, central but relatively quiet. Great service, towels changed every day. Beautiful gardens Sound isolation between other rooms and the courtyard isn't the best , some nights a little noise coming from the street, nothing that can't be solved with good ear plugs.

We choose this place for our honeymoon and it was just perfect. The room was cleaned and comfortable and we loved how well look after the pool area was. We really appreciate the service provided by Melina. We spoke with her on a regular basis via WhatsApp. She was very responsive and keen to provide the best tips and advices. A special thanks to Maria Jesus as well.. she took care of our room at the highest standards. Highly recommended. The only thing we didn't like was the beach club that was included in service.. the staff was rude and although the bed was "free", food consumption was mandatory and really not worth the price.

The entire process was incredibly easy and fast, with online access to a client portal containing all necessary details and codes for seamless entry into both the hotel and the apartment.
